work together

2023 is my eighth year as a photographer. I have been lucky enough to photograph over 125+ weddings and countless engagement and brand shoots.

I like to joke that I am Type A all the way up until the moment you are in front of the camera. I want to be strategic in planning photos so that you can be more present at your wedding day or shoot. But once it is time to be in front of the camera, it's time to relax, have fun, and be you. Though I will guide you to help you feel comfortable and natural, I want the experience to be easy and stress-free.

I'd love to talk to you further about what makes South & West Photo different and how I can help.

I'm Morgan

get to know me

I started photographing weddings in 2016 on the East Coast then moved to California in January of 2018. The only person I knew when I moved was my husband. I had ZERO connections in California so I relied on my degree in business marketing, love of sales, and networking to grow my photography business. I've learned countless lessons through being a photographer and it is one of my favorite topics to cover. Check out the blog for more tips and lessons if you are in the wedding industry!

AKA my guys! Matthew and I have been married for 5 years and we have a one year old golden retriever named Moose! Matthew has been my biggest fan and has watched me go from booking $50 contracts to booking 5-figure contracts and his confidence and belief in me has never wavered.  I love him to pieces!

And Moose is my bestie boy. I never thought I would be an overly obsessed dog owner but here I am...He never leaves my side and has been the best addition to our family.

I love to travel and I am on a plane a few times a month! Since moving to California I have learned to surf and snowboard but more than anything, I have learned to get outside.

Creating connects all across the world is something I never anticipated from photography. I am so grateful for the places it has taken me and can't wait for that to continue!
